Our Story
Mother Maids started with one Colorado Springs mom, a vacuum, and a very honest realization.
Alexiss wanted to be present for her kids without giving up the chance to build something of her own. She also saw how often cleaning work was treated like “less than” work, even though it is what keeps families, guests, and homes functioning.
So she created the thing she could not find.
At first it was just her, cleaning for neighborhood families on a flexible schedule. Word spread that she was not just good at cleaning. She was kind, reliable, and completely unbothered by toy explosions, laundry mountains, and the science experiment happening in the back of the fridge.
From there, Mother Maids grew into a small, mighty team that treats cleaning as real work that deserves real respect, for both the client and the cleaner.

MotherMaids exists to:

Every quote starts with “starting at” pricing based on the size and condition of your home. We explain what is included, what counts as an add on, and what it will cost before anyone shows up with a mop.

Residential home cleaning, Move In and Move Out cleans, and Airbnb or short term rental turnovers. We also take on select post construction and light commercial projects when they fit our routes and standards.

Cleanish, Clean, Cleanest, or Clean Freak, booked weekly, biweekly, monthly, or one time. You pick the level, we match the work.

A Quick Note For Hosts & Property Managers
If you run an Airbnb or a small portfolio of short term rentals, you live and die by your reviews and your turn times.
MotherMaids supports individual hosts and smaller property managers in the Colorado Springs area with:
- Reliable turnovers coordinated through the Turno app
- Standard cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Bed stripping and remaking, trash removal, and basic reset between guests
- Same day rush cleans when we can make it work, with a $50 rush fee
Most of the scheduling, checklists, and photos for host work run through Turno, so you get the visibility you need without twenty back and forth texts.
Airbnb hosts have the option to add me as a co-host with calendar access.
